AN INTRODUCTION TO BIKE MAINTENENCE

This is a recording of an introductory bicycle maintenance event held as part of Transport Fortnight. We were joined by Phil and Neil from Recyke-a-bike. In it, they show you how to do a pre-ride check, change an inner tube, change brake blocks and clean your chain.

This presentation by David and Ellie explains how they went about their cycle tour from Malaysia to Yorkshire. They describe what they took, how they got by and some funny stories from along the way. It is as much a practical guide as it is a story. They then show you how easy and cheap it can be.
