Maker Spaces

Our maker spaces are set up for local artists to work on their pieces as customers shop. If you’d like more information, please email margherita@transitionstirling.org.uk

DONATIONS

We have a collection point at Lower Polmaise Household Waste Recycling Centre labelled Reuse, which is open during the Recycling Centre's opening hours for anyone wishing to drop off items.

So before you buy anything new, make sure to check out the Reuse Hub, we might just have what you are looking for. You will be helping to reduce waste and the consumption of raw materials by not buying something new. Together, we can reduce our carbon emissions!

Our aims

The Stirling Reuse Hub project aims to provide a space to make these goods available for reuse.

This will range from goods and materials that:

• Are in excellent condition and just need a new home

• Just need some light repair or TLC

• Can be used for upcycling projects

• Can be remade or repurposed

• Materials for art projects

• Spare parts

Reduce Reuse Reimagine

Inspired to create, upcycle, repair? We want to hear from you. 

Supported by our workshops, tools from the library and workspace, we provide a retail space for you to sell your creations. We will be creating a space to foster and encourage innovation, where we can collaborate and develop solutions, as well as deliver repurposing projects.

The birth of this project is a result of working with our very supportive local partners:

The success of Stirling Reuse Hub will depend on continued collaboration and engagement with YOU, the community. We will be proactively seeking opportunities to work with local charities, schools, and community organisations to forward the following project objectives:

• Influence consumption habits

• Financial sustainability
