Sewing Machine Basics

  • 5 Wellgreen Lane Stirling, FK8 2BS United Kingdom (map)

This class is aimed at the complete novice - absolutely no experience necessary. You have the option to bring your own machine or a limited number of spaces are available to use one of ours. Whether you got a new machine for Christmas or your old one has been gathering dust, you will be sure to learn something.

In this class you will learn how to thread a machine, the types of stitches you can use and how to care for your machine. We will do this by way of undertaking a small project (scrunchie, bag, juggling ball). All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own fabric, thread or embellishments.

The event takes place right opposite the multi story car park, which closes at 8. You can also park in the Burghmuir retail park for 3 hours.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We ask that you take a COVID test before coming along and please follow all current guidelines.
