Mushroom Foraging Walk

  • Aberfoyle Scotland (map)

Join professional forager, Graham Whitehouse of Whitehouse Foraging, for this informative fungi forage. In this workshop you will learn how to identify and prepare a number of common (and hopefully some rare) species. Just as importantly you will also be told what not to pick. Numbers are limited and this proves to be a very popular walk so book in plenty time to avoid disappointment. This walk is open to all but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at a ration of 1 adult to 2 children. It will be a steady walk mainly on paths but some parts may be over grass and uneven ground.

Meet on the grass above the car park. We will walk whatever the weather within safe limits so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

There are two time options:
10am - 12.30pm
1.30pm - 4pm

We also ask that you offer car shares where possible as this is in a rural location.
