Join the amazing and extremely knowledgeable Michaella for interactive furniture upcycling event. This workshop will be split into 2 parts. From 10 - 12 we will look at surface preparation and painting, then we will break for lunch and to let the paint dry. From 2 - 4 we will look at a range of finishing techniques such as stencil, gold leafing and dry brushing.

The idea of this workshop is that you upcycle along with us, but feel free to just watch. No experience is necessary. it is best to use chalk paint for your furniture upcycling but you can often achieve great results with what you have in the house. You may also want to find old sheet music, books, images or event some imitation gold leaf. Have a look on the web for upcycling ideas and use any supplies you have in the house.
